As part of the Program Unit and under the direct supervision of the Social Mobilization Unit, the incumbent of the post will have the following responsibilities:

Introduce Qatar Charity\'s program to the local communities and formation of Community Organizations
Carry out field related project activities on prescribed formats
Maintaining good relations with communities, notables and local contact persons to involve them in programme activities and seek their support wherever required
Assist in developing a social mobilization strategy and spatial planning for QC Programme
Mobilize/sensitize local communities towards Programme activities
Develop profile of the villages/area
Coordinate closely with the programme team for timely implementation of QC interventions
Undertake field visits, and surveys in order to deliver the programme
Identify problems and proposes remedial action
Identify alternative courses of action and accelerate/improve programme delivery
Prepare reports on the areas where QC work can be carried out using specific tools for gathering data, prepare the evaluation phases and implement the recommendations
Submit the weekly report to the supervisor
Participate in establishing effective monitoring, information and reporting systems, and in the development of communication materials and strategies to promote community participation
Identify, assess, select, develop and maintain referral system with local NGOs and other service providers
Perform other related duties as required
Training local leaders and activities in the basics of organizing communities and introducing a programme of savings, capital formation, and skill development.
Preparing weekly, monthly and overall DIP under the direct supervision of program officer
Providing data of the field to Monitoring & Evaluation Section on time
Responsible for coordination with all stakeholder at the Union Council level
Must be well groomed and having a pleasant personality
Must operate a decent dress code.

Conducted extensive data collection on houses partially or fully damaged during the Flood of 2023, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting to the Government of Sindh for the support in building new houses.
Facilitated the formation of village community groups through community meetings, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation among residents.
Maintained meticulous records of all data, guaranteeing the highest standards of transparency, professionalism, and social competence in data management.
Collaborated with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the data collection and reporting process.

Assessment of Volunerable and desering people for Financial Assistance

Identify and collect data from covered and uncovered locations of Union Councils, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy.
Engage the Local Support Organizations (LSOs) in mapping the non-Lady Health Workers (LHWs) covered areas and villages within each Union Council.
Collaborate with Village Health Committees to actively manage and monitor immunization activities, ensuring efficient delivery of services.
Seek community feedback and gather relevant documents, effectively communicating community concerns and needs to relevant forums, such as Village Organizations (VOs) and LSOs.
Identify community resource persons in the uncovered areas based on predefined criteria, engaging them on a voluntary basis as needed for specific activities.
Develop work plans in alignment with guidance and supervision from the District Project Officer, ensuring efficient implementation of project activities.
Maintain a daily diary to record and track progress, providing an accurate account of project activities and milestones.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills in coordinating and prioritizing tasks, ensuring timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and facilitating collaboration for the successful execution of project objectives.
